In 2003, BETW successfully developed a new type of CTC, heat-shrink net-wrapped CTC which had passed the New Products Identification of Hebei Province，and has received the Third Prize of China Science Technology. This product can be wrapped with net, strip or rope instead of insulation paper. Its characteristic is to have the heating parts of windings directly contact with transformer oil and eliminate the oil pockets between paper insulating wires, which will be very effective on removing the heat of transformer，After practice, this new high-tech product can improved the efficiency of transformer and reduce the cost and has been applied widely in 500kv transformers
